Sailability at Port Bouvard Yacht Club offers people of all abilities the opportunity to sail regardless of their level of ability,
skill or personal circumstances.
The sheltered waters of the Peel/Harvey Estuary provide the perfect base for our very stable Windrider 17 trimarans.
These vessels can take up to two participants, their carers and an instructor out into the estuary to enjoy sailing
in a safe environment.
Participants must be registered members of PBYC Sailability programme.
A sailing fee applies.
Preparation & what to bring:
Participants should be prepared with suitable clothing:
Sunglasses & a well-fitting hat (that won’t blow off - we suggest a tie cord)
Water proof jacket or a jumper (it can be cold on the water, even on a fine day).
A bottle of water.
Apply sunscreen before you leave home
